Sake Tasting Tour (half day)

Sake tasting tour provides a balanced mix of educational and interactive experiences while allowing you to enjoy the essence of sake culture. Feel free to adjust the timing or activities based on your interests and the specific offerings of the venue.

Tour Itinerary

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Arrival and Orientation

Location: Sake brewery or a sake tasting venue
Activities: Meet your guide or the venue staff, receive an overview of the sake tasting tour, and get a brief introduction to sake production and tasting techniques.

9:30 AM – 10:15 AM: Sake Brewery Tour

Location: Sake brewery
Activities: Take a guided tour of the brewery. Learn about the sake-making process, including the ingredients, brewing equipment, and fermentation.

10:15 AM – 10:45 AM: Sake Tasting Session

Location: Tasting room or designated area
Activities: Taste a selection of sakes. Typically, you’ll sample a range of styles such as Junmai, Ginjo, and Daiginjo. Your guide will provide information on each type and how to properly taste sake.

10:45 AM – 11:00 AM: Break and Snack

Location: Tasting venue or nearby café
Activities: Enjoy a light snack such as sake-paired appetizers or traditional Japanese treats to cleanse your palate and complement the sake.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Interactive Session

Location: Tasting venue
Activities: Participate in a Q&A session or a small workshop where you can learn more about pairing sake with food, or try a hands-on activity related to sake.

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Shopping and Farewell

Location: Brewery shop or tasting venue
Activities: Browse and purchase sake and related products. Say goodbye to your guide or the staff and wrap up your visit.
